Welcome to HARUN

Horn of Africa Rural and Urban Networks, hence HARUN, is an international non-governmental charitable organization that works in partnership with rural communities and urban poor with the primary aim of empowering individuals, families and villages with the knowledge and resources they need to build themselves a sustainable development.

MISSION STATEMENT:

HARUN is dedicated to provide support and reources to improve the lives of rural poor communities and displaced vulnerable urban in the horn of africa region through integrated, community-centered social development strategies based on education, health, community economic empowerment, capacity building and poverty reduction. HARUN by implementing programs and projects to improve their livelihoods and strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families and community we serve by providing hope to many people are poverty-stricken, illiterate, destitute, and lacking the basic needs.

VISION:

HARUN envisions a world where everybody is literate, free of hunger and disease, and enjoys freedom, peace and stability in order to engage sustainable community based development programs and initiatives.
